How it works

Three words, and the whole thing

Room

One live session.

It has a six-digit code. You put the code on the screen and everyone joins on their phone: no app, no account.

Question

What you put on everyone's phone.

Pick one, pick several, ranking, scale, word cloud or open text. You open it, the room answers, you close it and everyone sees the result.

Agenda

Questions you prepare before the session.

Write them at your desk the day before, check how each looks on a phone, then start a room from the agenda when it is time. Use it again for the next group.

Two ways to run a session

Right now, with nothing prepared

1 Start a room

One button on the front page. No account needed.

2 Show the code

Put the code or the QR code on the screen. Phones join in seconds.

3 Ask and open

Write a question and open it. Everyone's phone shows it at once.

4 Close to show results

Answers arrive live on your screen. Close it and every phone shows the result.

Prepared the day before

1 Make an agenda

Free account, then Agendas. Write your questions; a phone beside the form shows how each will look.

2 Preview it

Step through the whole agenda exactly as the room will see it.

3 Start a room from it

On the day, one button. Every question is waiting in the room, in order.

4 Open them one by one

Show the code, open the first question, close it, open the next. Results stay in the room.

What the people in the room do

Join

Scan the QR code, or type the code on the address shown. Nothing to install, no sign-up.

Answer

The question appears on their phone when you open it. A tap, or a few words.

Ask back

The Questions tab lets them send you a question and upvote the ones they want answered.

Do I need an account?

Not to run a room: a room without an account holds 10 questions and keeps results for 24 hours. A free account keeps your rooms, holds 20 questions a room and lets you prepare agendas.

What if the wifi drops?

Every answer is saved the moment it is sent. A phone that loses the network comes back on its own, with its answer still there.
